This photo shows the Holt road crossing the stream at Whitemill, Hoe, about 1906,  before the bridge was built. The family in the trap is probably heading back to Dereham from a Sunday excursion. Mr H. Hurn is driving, with Mrs Hurn. The boy on the footbridge is their son, later of Kingston & Hurn grocers in Dereham.
